Review for Trevose (Championship)

Reviewer Score:

Fairly undulating and open links course with panoramic views to the sea from the clubhouse, looking down over the course. No real stand out holes, although the fourth green is in a fantastic location adjacent the coastal path. No weak holes either and I thought the course comprised 18 good quality interesting holes and was a very fair test of golf. Bunkers excellant with some improvements being made to some holes, whilst the uphill par 4 finishing hole must be one of the toughest around. Although the greens were of good quality they were very slow (too slow) and this really was the only negative to the day; quicker greens and my rating would be a 5 ball. All-in-all a fine course, for me akin to Aberdovey. DB
