This is a top-5 course in Virginia. The greens are best in the state and always roll 12-13 or faster on the stimpmeter. Subtle undulation and fast greens make this course a true gem. Tee to green offers challenge requiring precision along with many risk-reward opportunities. It’s a true shotmakers paradise. As the only private country club in the area, they have very little crowds, and I’ve rarely seen more than a few groups during my visits out there. The name of the club comes from the two rivers that converge into one and the course offers a unique coastal feel. Several holes border the river coastline while others play through tidal marshes. Also the Jamestown settlement 1607 is only a few miles down the coast. Tons of character and a true treat if you get invited to play.
