University Club of Baton Rouge

Home of the LSU Tigers and LSU Lady Tigers teams, the course at University Club of Baton Rouge is a Jim Lipe design that opened for play in 1998 and was redesigned by David Toms and the original architect in 2010.

The 18-hole layout is located on the Manchac Bend of the Mississippi River, around 11 miles south of downtown Baton Rouge, with the course occupying land that was donated to the Tiger Athletic Foundation then leased to the University Club.

Fairways are laid out in two returning loops around substantial residential developments, with water in play at more than half the holes. Favorites include short par fours at the 4th and 15th, and the left doglegged 18th, where a menacing lake threatens the approach to the home green.
