The University of Texas Golf Club boasts a 7,412 yard, par 71 championship course, created by Bechtol Russell Golf Design in 2003. Remarkably, there’s a choice of ten tee positions on every hole to suit golfers of all abilities.

UTGC utilizes what would otherwise be a very challenging piece of land amidst the hill country canyons and cliffs and presents a stout challenge for collegiate and amateur golfers alike. The course was designed to test all facets of one's game, and the 12+ tee box combinations certainly allows a golfer to vary their own distance to challenge certain skills. On this day, the wind was howling, creating a very tough test off the tee and on approach. The greens were fast, albeit inconsistent in some places, but offered an immense amount of challenge and intrigue. The facilities, as you would expect, were phenomenal, and it's hard to beat the views of lake Austin.
