Occupying a compact 110-acre property that lies next to Lake Helgasjön, the course extends to around 6,200 metres from the back tees, playing to a par of 72 (37 out then 35 in), with holes arranged as two returning nines. Water comes into play at half a dozen holes, most noticeably on the outward half where small ponds protect the greens on #5, #6 and #8.
Highlights here include the par four 6th and par five 8th, with the fairways on both holes turning left to greens that are positioned right on the edge of the lake. On the back nine, the two par threes at #12 and #14 are delightful short holes while the most difficult hole is kept until last at the 379-metre 18th (rated stroke index 1) which doglegs sharply right to the home green.
