Veckefjärden

Arranged as two returning nines, the main 18-hole course at Veckefjärdens GC is a Kent and Peter Forsberg design that first opened for play at the start of the new millennium. Measuring just under 6,500 metres from the back tees, the layout plays to a par of 72.

Highlight holes include the first (and longest) of the par threes at the 177-metre 4th; the difficult left doglegging par four 6th (with a small lake to the front right of the green); and the par four 9th which has another couple of small water hazards in play close to the right side of the green.

On the back nine, the 424-metre 13th is the longest (and toughest) par four on the course, veering right from the tee towards the Veckefjarden Lake, and it’s immediately followed by the signature hole on the card at the par three 14th, where tee shots are played to a peninsula green at the water’s edge on the lake.
