I played this course on a 3 weeks trip to Vietnam with friends in jan 2012. It is spectacular in every sense. First of all we arrived at the 1st Tee via a private speed boat & a ‘stretched’ golf buggy.. very James bond. As the editor has said above, every hole has amassing views out to sea & back to the main line were the epic sky-cable car comes into view. The greens were extremely fast & you can tell that the moisture sapping wind & hot Asia’s sun makes these greens tough for the green keepers to stop turning into a surface no dissimilar to putting on glass. The wind is a big factor on this course as many holes are exposed & this coupled with the water on almost every hole means big scores can be racked up pretty fast if your driving is off key. The course is staffed by an army of females caddies as seems to be common place in Vietnam. Play here if you get the chance. One of the best courses I’ve ever seen. The closest thing in this life to playing 18-holes in Jurassic park!
