Review:

The Warwickshire can only be described as special. I was a member from 1993-2000, and having subsequently moved, miss playing the courses. Four completely different loops of 9, excellent bunkering, true championship greens, and a variety of tee and flag positions means you never get bored. Each loop has a feature hole - the 7th on the South - an interesting risk and reward par 5 where the longer hitters can take on a lake in front of the green, and the 8th on the East- a testing par 3 which is all carry across a lake, the 7th on the North - a stunning par four cut out of a pine forest, and the 3rd on the West - a par four that reminds one of Augusta’s 13th with a difficult second shot to a green tucked away beyond a stream - all delightful. I have had the opportunity to play the course since moving form the area, and it is pleasing to see how the courses continue to improve. In my opinion one of the best layouts in the Midlands.
