Weybrook Park (West)

It was moved from its initial site from 1997 to the present location, Weybrook Park Golf Club was initially designed with 18 holes. The architect Ken Moodie and club official Sandy Burrell were then tasked with designing a brand new 9-hole course that was was paired with the existing Front Nine in the year 2021, to create an 18 hole West course, which is now playing.

It is interesting to note that the expense of the construction of those holes had to be paid for with a the equivalent of quarter million cubic meters of construction waste from nearby sites to form the course. Imported lighter materials were used for playing corridors that ran between tees and greens, whereas heavier soils were restricted to rough areas that were between fairways.

The holes that stand out on the outside part include the right-hand doglegging par five (where you'll need to take an approach that is uphill, a little bit, to a raised green, with run-off areas and an imposing bunker to the left) as well as the par 3 7th that starts from a raised tee and ends on a green that has a the hollow of grass between the putting surface, and bunkers right and left.

The back nine is now a new layout some standout holes are the extremely large par four 12th, with a stroke index of 2. which features an infinity-shaped green secured by two bunkers to left, and 14, a four-par hole that is a natural-looking chalk stream run through the fairway twice, before this watercourse flows into a pond right of the golf course.
