Wild Marsh Golf Club

Wild Marsh Golf Club is an 18-hole public championship course located in Buffalo, Minnesota, approximately 25 miles west of the Twin Cities. The course was designed by Australian architect and Champions Tour player Graham Marsh and opened in 2000. Marsh, who turned professional in 1969 and won over sixty tournaments worldwide including the 1997 US Senior Open, founded Graham Marsh Golf Design in 1986 and has completed projects across sixteen countries.

The course is built across rolling terrain incorporating natural wetlands, wooded areas, and scenic lake views, with several holes running alongside Mink Lake and Buffalo Lake. All tees, fairways, and greens are seeded with bentgrass. The layout plays to a par of 71 and offers six sets of tees, ranging from approximately 4,561 yards at the forward tees to 6,543 yards from the championship tees. Two additional tee combinations, including a Gold and Blue/White combo, were introduced in 2023.

The course is particularly noted for its four-hole Mink Lake stretch (holes 6 through 9), which includes the par-5 seventh hole, described as Marsh's tribute to the 18th at Pebble Beach, and the par-3 eighth, cited by Tee Times Magazine as one of Minnesota's ten prettiest par-3 holes. The ninth hole offers panoramic views over Mink Lake from an elevated tee.

Wild Marsh has received recognition as a Top 25 Public Course in Minnesota by Golf Advisor and was voted 2025 Golf Course of the Year by the Midwest Golf Course Owners Association.
