Named after the creek that wanders through the layout, the course at Willow Creek Golf Club is an early 1980s collaboration between Robert von Hagge and Bruce Devlin with water featuring at nearly every hole on this testing track.
There is absolutely no width on this golf course. It is the place that convinced me that trees on a golf course are generally bad. There's only one way to play each hole, and there are some absurd angles you have to negotiate because of how the trees lie in relation to the hole. To date, it is the worst course in Texas I've played and one I have no desire to ever re-visit until 80% of the trees on property are removed.
Bold! A one ball course! If you read the descriptions, you would see that one ball means not only is the layout absolutely awful, but the conditions so bad that it basically feels abandoned. I understand you may not be a huge fan of the layout, but by your description it seems like a 2 1/2 ball course. Please go back and read what every ball rating is.
