Winston (Links)

Good and beautiful inland links course which offered a good challenge from the back tee and almost all greens had tough run-off areas punishing poor and too aggressive approaches, while par 5 holes provided good risk and reward opportunities with good drive.

We played the Winston Links on the second day of our stay at Winston Golf.

Winston Links is a stunning creation—a links-style golf course built with German engineering and precision.

Miles From anywhere and yet worth it , the work in getting a golf course built here , can only be seen if you look at the surrounding countryside which is relatively normal grass and forest.

Admittedly, I had an idea what to expect out of the Links course at Winston Golf, with that said, if you told me, driving to the heartland of Germany for golf I would run into a golf course that made the Castle Course at St.

Special Golfcourse in Germany, well worth to do a detour

I had my doubts when I came to visit Winston.

This course is not big, it's B-I-G and the design is absolutely spectacular.
