The Wisley is a private members' club, but unlike a lot of other private courses, The Wisley has a very relaxed feel. Having played nearly all the courses in Surrey, if I lived down here, this is one I would consider joining. It has three loops of 9 all coming back to the clubhouse. I played Mill-Garden, but all are similar with water as a feature on most holes, either by way of lakes or, in the case of the Mill, the meandering river. The course was immaculate with loads of plants, bunkers excellent as were the greens with no marks anywhere. Great clubhouse and feel to the course. With the Wisley Gardens next door, they have clearly shared several plants as it feels Augusta-like in places. Superb. (ED)
