Review for Woburn (Marquess)

Reviewer Score:

What a fabulous course. Bearing in mind this course is little over 5 years old I was astonished by the condition. The tees and fairways were immaculate. Admittedly the greens were not good to look at, but they putted true and were a good speed. 7th is rightly the signature hole a big drive down the left is your only chance of getting home, even then its a long iron. All told a very picturesque golf course, with plenty to challenge the low handicapper, but as mentioned in a previous review the course is wide enough and playable to offer an enjoyable game for the higher handicapped player, which is something you don't find too often in these 'BIG' venues and something I have to say made the day far more enjoyable for all concerned. Just a final note, make sure you take in the Carvery as this is something to behold. ENJOY.....
