Nestled between Woking and Guildford, Woking Golf Club sits at the very heart of the Surrey heathland belt.

Another Surrey heathland treat, but Woking is anything but run-of-the-mill – a wonderful club with a beautifully mature course featuring excellent course design and some sensational greens.

Woking was my first top 100 course and my first of the three W’s.

Woking’s timeless nature highlights a wonderful variety of golf.

I am far from partial in my review as it is my home course but Woking brings out the best in its members and many of its guests.

Woking Golf Club’s layout is a masterclass in seamlessly blending natural beauty with strategic ingenuity.

Possibly my favourite of the 3 'W's', Woking Golf Club continues to impress with each visit.

While there are tougher tests in the UK top 100 this is a strategic challenge where the golfer who thinks their way around will score best and that to me is how it should be.
