The Worcestershire is a very nice parkland course. Set at the base of the Malvern Hills the setting is picturesque and the routing makes good use of the terrain. The course has some excellent holes such as the 3rd a mid iron par 3 to a green set through a shute of trees and the 4th a risk and reward par 5 where the player needs to carry the brook guarding the front of the green. The back 9 is slightly better than the front as it has more interesting green complexes (14 is really extreme). The 15th is really nice par 3 again slightly downhill with water framing the left side and behind the green. The course condition was excellent…the greens were particularly good.
