Described as “a Korean garden in the middle of the mountains,” the course at Namchon Golf Club was renovated in 2016 by Kyle Phillips, who remodelled the 3rd, 14th and 17th holes, in addition to redesigning the par threes at #4 and #12.
Known as Phoenix Park Ski Resort, the golf course first opened for play in April 1998 and it’s South Korea’s first Jack Nicklaus Signature layout that’s set dramatically at 700 metres (2,300 feet) above sea level.
