Grand Bahama Island boasts a couple of good layouts with Dick Wilson’s 1960s Lucayan golf course at the Grand Lucayan Resort leading the way but that layout is now closed, however the Robert Trent Jones II track at the resort’s Reef Club is still open for play. Stars of the Bahamian golf course show are located on the islands of Abaco and the tropical links of the Abaco Club is simply an unforgettable experience. Baker's Bay was laid out by Tom Fazio in 2010 and is set on a sliver of sandy shoreline on the west flank of Great Guana Cay and it's currently our No.1. But remember, if you plan to get around these islands by car, don’t forget that British road rules apply, so make sure you drive your car on the left! Our Caribbean and Atlantic Islands rankings were last updated in February 2020.
