Hot Springs (Park)

11th Arkansas - Best in Area

Formed in 1898, Hot Springs Country Club offers its members two well-established 18-hole golf layouts. The Park (formerly known as the Majestic) was first to appear in 1920 and it’s a solid Willie Park Junior course which is not short of admirers.

Chenal (Founders)

12th Arkansas - Best in Area

Robert Trent Jones Junior laid out the two 18-hole courses at Chenal Country Club and the Founders layout – where water features at more than half the holes – was first to appear in 1990.

Big Creek

13th Arkansas - Best in Area

Big Creek and another four lakes provide plenty of aquatic challenge at Big Creek Golf & Country Club. The course is a Tom Clark design that has garnered plenty of praise since it was unveiled in 2000.

Pinnacle Country Club

14th Arkansas - Best in Area

In 2009, architect Randy Heckenkemper upgraded the 18-hole layout at Pinnacle Country Club so the course now features Bermuda rough, Zorro Zoysia fairways and Tyee Bent grass greens.

Hardscrabble

15th Arkansas - Best in Area

Renovated by Jay and Carter Morrish in the late 1990s, the course at Hardscrabble Country Club dates back to the 1920s when Perry Maxwell first pegged out the fairways. The club hosted the 1979 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur.

Thunder Bayou

16th Arkansas - Best in Area

Former tournament venue for golfers on the Hooters Tour and Heartland Senior Tour, the public facility at Thunder Bayou Golf Links has water hazards in play at on seven of its holes.

Mountain Ranch

17th Arkansas - Best in Area

With fairways hewn from beautiful Ozark Mountain woodland, the 18-hole layout at Mountain Ranch Golf Club offers far more than the normal golfing challenge that might be expected of a resort course.

Hot Springs Village (Granada)

18th Arkansas - Best in Area

Unveiled in 2004, the Granada Golf Course at Hot Springs Village is an Ed Ault and Tom Clark design extending to more than 7,000 yards. The signature 18th hole features a waterfall that meanders along the entire length of the fairway.

Hot Springs Village (Magellan)

19th Arkansas - Best in Area

The Magellan Golf Course is one of the shortest layouts at Hot Springs Village. It lacks the length of other courses at a wonderful golf facility but its tricky greens – renovated in 2012 – ensure golfers of all skill levels are challenged here.

Hot Springs Village (Isabella - Nina & Pinta)

20th Arkansas - Best in Area

The 27-hole Isabella Golf Course at Hot Springs Village consists of three nines, with the Nina and Pinta combination forming the strongest 18-hole layout. Don’t overlook the Santa Maria nine though as it’s also an admirable 9-hole loop.
