Algonquin

Founded in 1902, Algonquin Golf Club had Tom Bendelow to thank for designing its original course, which Robert Foulis laid out. Multiple architects altered the course down the years before Brian Silva tidied up in the mid-1990s. New Zoysia fairways and Bentgrass greens were introduced in 2010.

40th Missouri - Best in Area

Oakwood Country Club moved to its present site in 1911, employing Tom Bendelow to set out a 9-hole course which Orrin Smith extended to eighteen holes in 1923. Tom Watson helped redesign a handful of holes in 1991 and later played in an exhibition to mark the re-opening.
