You've probably asked yourself: What makes for good golf? At Top 100, that is pretty much all we do. We feel it's important to be transparent and explain what criteria we use to evaluate golf courses and the aspects of the experience we purposefully exclude.
You might disagree with it all but at least you know where we stand. This month, we proudly reveal the guidance we give to our panellists.

Rankings are a product of great debate. Which golf course is better than the next and why? Could you improve the current rankings? We'd love to know if you could too!
How can you become a panellist for your county or state, country, region or even the world Top 100? It all starts with engagement!

2 - Leave 25 ratings and reviews of golf courses you've played to become a candidate
What will help you progress through the process? Here are some hints and tips:
- Post and tag us on Social Media (subscribe, follow, and interact with us!)
- Read our Ranking Guidance and let that advice guide you
- Leave a balanced rating
- Submit well-formatted, quality photos and videos
Dynamic Rankings - Disrupting The Status Quo
Are you tired of waiting for the next release of rankings? We want to change that - we believe that positions should change when new courses of outstanding merit open or considerable changes have been made after renovation or restoration.
At other times, an adjustment may be required when our criteria are adjusted or the merits of an existing ranked golf course are fully realised. It must also be said that adjustments may not always result in a golf course moving up in the rankings...
At Top 100 Golf Courses, the positions in our rankings are not for sale. Unbiased and independent, we endeavour to be as impartial as possible whilst being led by our publicly issued guidance.
