Started playing golf in 2011 after a lifetime of tennis and football took its toll on his knees. Has now played over 170 different courses across the UK, US, Europe and the Far East. Home course is Wortley Golf Club near Sheffield which is South Yorkshire’s hidden gem. Handicap 12. Based on Top 100 Golf Courses best course played is Pacific Dunes in Oregon. Have played 18 different courses in the US, 13 of the UK and Ireland’s Top 100 and 16 of England’s Top 100. Wife describes him as ‘living the life of a retired golfer on a full time salary’. Aim now is to play as many of the UK’s Top 100 as possible and continue to play abroad at every opportunity.
