I started and hosted South Africa´s only dedicated golfing radio show in May of 2005. I obtained my first Guinness World Record in December 2006. I became a full member of the Woodhill Golf Club in Pretoria in January 2007. During 2007-2008 I managed to set up another 3 Guinness World Records, becoming the first and only golfer in the world to have played a round of golf in all 6 continents in only 5 days.
Since 2005 I have been actively involved in golf through my golfing radio show called “Golf Radio”. In 2007 I was one of 8 finalists competing in the prestigeous Johnnie Walker Striding Man competition held at the Pezula Golf Estate on the Western Cape coast. I won the golf event over two rounds with a total score of 64 points.
During 2007 I joined 4 newspapers and contributes to them monthly through my own golfing columns. I also contributed to both the Compleat Golfer and Golf Digest magazines.
In 2015 I joined Waterberg Stereo as the host of the popular “Uit die Sandkuil” golf show which aired Friday mornings.
In 2010 I managed to play the Top 100 golf courses in South Africa in just 80 days. My aim is to do the same, playing the Top 100 golf courses in the world in 80 days.
In 2017 I acquired Golf Car SA, which has grown into the biggest independent golf cart business in SA, with branches in 4 provinces.
So what’s next? I am busy planning hitting a golf ball off an aeroplane’s wing while flying at 4 000 feet, as well as setting a new record for the fastest round of golf by a 4 ball.
