I started posting reviews on this website soon after it came online and I found it fun to air my views on the many courses I’d played over the years. I soon realized that my opinions were sometimes shared by others and sometimes not. It’s easy to post negative reviews after bad experiences and equally simple to post positive ones following great experiences. I found myself thinking about why I felt disappointment after playing some top courses. Disappointment was of course due to expectation. On the flip side I’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing some hidden gems because expectations were lower. If only sites like this were around a few decades ago I probably would have enjoyed some of the top courses much more.

Best course in the area by far. Well worth the green fee. Great feeling of privacy amongst the forest. Geared up for societies and corporate days.

Classy and traditional if a little on the short side. It's good advice to leave the driver at home, I got into all sorts of trouble with mine! Thoroughly enjoyable.
