I am an 10-handicap member of Les Mielles in Jersey, where I am lucky enough to be able to regularly play some great golf both on the island and in France. I'm a traditional links golf addict and have an unofficial challenge with a good friend to play all classic links courses in Britain in a few weeks per year, of course using the Top 100 Golf Courses and its informed users as our Bible!

Played as two three balls after an East Midlands society trip to Sherwood Forest, Oakmere and the mighty Hollinwell, so a high standard to meet. We'd been trying to get to...
An excellent venue for a pick up game, or as in our case a Saturday game as society visitors - excellent holes that are in great condition given the footfall, and the hom...

Very much of its type, this would be your choice of the last day's golf on a stay and play society trip. Nice enough, and you'll get a worthy weekend winner who can avoid...
As per our illustrious editor's review, a challenging, good, buggy-only course that is indivisible from its host facility. Given the footfall and low cost Ashbury Manor d...
