David Worley

David Worley lives in Melbourne and plays off an 11 handicap. He's a member of three golf clubs: Commonwealth, Sorrento and Moonah Links. He's also a member of the Australian Golf Writers Association and is on the judging panel for The Golf Course Guide in Australia. He's played 299 courses in the UK and Ireland, many more than once, and has written four golf books to date. In 2007, his third book, Journey through the Links, was voted the number 1 golf book in the world by Sports Illustrated and the sequel, Another Journey through the Links, was the only golf book to be shortlisted for the 2011 British Sport Books Awards. In April 2015 he published Golf in the Heather and Gorse, reviewing many inland and heathland courses of England and Scotland and, as with his previous books, Peter Thomson wrote the Foreword.
