Lyckorna Golfklubb was the 100th club to join the Swedish Golf Association back in 1967. Today, the club’s Anders Amilon-designed course measures 6,100 metres from the back tees, playing to a par of 72.

Lyckorna Golfklubb lies to the south of the seaside resort of Lyckorna, founded by Scotsman Robert MacFie in 1877. For many years, it was a popular spa destination, along with nearby Ljungskile.

The golf club was formed in 1967, becoming the 100th member of the Swedish Golf Association, with holes arranged as two returning nines on land lying between the E6 main road and the coastline.

Notable holes include the 330-metre 5th, with a ditch crossing diagonally in front of the green, and the 410-metre 7th (rated stroke index 2) which doglegs left past bunkers on either side of the fairway.

The back nine begins with a strong par four (a stream cuts across the fairway 100 metres short of the green) then a lovely par three features at the 17th, where small ponds protect the right and rear of the green.
