Schloss Schönborn (1-18)
Schloss Schönborn is set in the heart of the Austrian wine region on the northeastern edge of Vienna and it boasts an impressive 27 holes and an even more impressive manor house, which is now the clubhouse and the imposing centrepiece of the Schloss Schönborn Golf Club.
The 27 holes are spread out over more than 250 acres and the course is set out in three loops of nine holes, the Red, Green and Yellow. The Red and Green nines make up the premier tournament course but if you are planning a day here we recommend the full 27-hole Kurt Rossknecht experience.
Schloss Schönborn is a heavily wooded course, with thoughtful routing and captivating holes. In many ways the layout is reminiscent of a traditional British park course but there is no doubt that you are in the Viennese heart.
