Ciputra Golf Club is Andy Dye’s first Indonesian project from 1994, which consists of three 9-hole loops, Valley, Lake and Hill. Check out his signature island par three 12th, which is very similar to his uncle’s original at TPC Sawgrass.
One of the oldest clubs established outside the British Isles when it was founded as Batavia Golf Club in 1872. The club moved to the Rawamangun district in 1937, expanding to a Tom Simpson-designed 18-hole layout, later changing its name to Jakarta Golf Club.
The course at Sentul Highlands Golf Club lies an hour’s drive south of downtown Jakarta in the mountainous Bogor region. Officially opened for play in 1997, the layout’s a Gary Player design featuring greens built to USGA standard.
Designed by Nick Faldo in the mid-1990s, the course at Jababeka Golf & Country Club recently hosted its first international professional event – the LINC Group Jakarta Invitational in 2014 – on the Asian Development Tour.
