The Central Thailand region is where most of the nation’s golf action takes place, whether it’s in or around the capital or a little further south in either the Hua Hin district or in Pattaya, on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand. Of the sixty Thai courses that we now feature in either our regional or national lists, two thirds of them are found within this very golf-orientated part of the country.

Rolling Hills is the fourth 18-hole layout to open at the burgeoning Siam Country Club. Unveiled in 2019, Rolling Hills is a Brian Curley design that’s located to the south of the Old course. The “wall of death” in front of the par five 15th green will not be quickly forgotten.

Opened in January 2017 and set to the north of Bangkok, the course at Royal Bang Pa-In Golf Club was fashioned on a vast 100-hectare site with no expenses spared by Schmidt-Curley Design. Huge undulating greens and risk and reward holes abound on this flat but exciting layout.
