The Sea Pine Golf Course is an integral component of a Royal Thai Army Sports Centre, with a railway line separating the opening and closing holes from the remainder of the 18-hole layout. The facility was developed for the convalescence of Thai army officials.
Founded in 1958 and designed by Japan Golf, Bangpra Golf Club, or Bangpra International, is one of Thailand’s oldest layouts which was recently remodelled by JMP Golf Design to meet the requirements of new millennium golfers.
The 27-hole facility at Khao Kheow Country Club was laid out by Perry Dye in 1992, with golfers experiencing agreeable elevation changes throughout the round. Designed as a championship test, the first eighteen holes underwent an extensive renovation in 2013.
Situated on the banks of the River Kwai Yai, half an hour’s drive from the provincial capital Kanchanaburi, the Mitsuaki Kobayashi-designed Nichigo Golf Resort and Country Club course comprises three exciting 9-hole circuits, named Lake, River and Mountain.
The course at the Sir James Resort (formerly known as Forest Hills Country Club) is named in honour of the owner’s father, Sir James Richard Holt, who was knighted for his services to Anglo-Thai trade relations by Queen Elizabeth II during her silver jubilee year in 1977.
Formerly known as Natural Park Ramindra, the Legacy Golf Club is a Jack Nicklaus Signature design which is located in Bangkok and is routed across flat terrain punctuated by a series of lakes and huge sand traps.
