North Wales

North Wales Counties Golf Association promotes the sport in 45 clubs in the region. It also includes it with the Anglesey Golf Union, Caernarvon & District Golf Union, Denbighshire Golfing Union and the Union of Flintshire Golf Clubs. The four best golf courses of North Wales are strung out along the coast. They begin with Conwy which is a superb links layout situated along the Conwy Estuary. Conwy is a golf course which is in the Top 100 rankings for Great Britain and Ireland. Just a little over fifty miles away to the north, beachside fairways of the layout of 26 holes located at Nefyn and District are as distinct as a golf course that you'll find anywhere. One hour from here, the championship golf course in Royal St David's serves up a tough challenge on the linksland that is situated beneath the majestic appearance at Harlech Castle. A brief train ride south of here, you'll arrive on the platform that is located outside the clubhouse of the delightful old course in Aberdovey One of the most charming places to play within the UK.
