The course at Canyamel Golf is a 1988 José Gancedo production that’s set at the northeast corner of the island of Mallorca. Look out for the stone building at the 9th, find the correct level on three-tiered home green and mind the turtles.
Folco Nardi and José "Pepe" Gancedo designed the No.1 course at Golf Santa Ponsa. The layout opened in 1997 and has staged the Open de Baleares multiple times with Seve Ballesteros emerging victorious on three occasions between 1988 and 1992.
Golf Maioris is set out on a gently undulating landscape, the course measures just over 6,350 metres from the back tees, with fairways routed through stands of pine, olive and carob trees.
Designed by Francisco López Segalés, the West course at Son Antem is a good deal tighter than the East, with trees lining many of the fairways.
Located on the Es Turó estate, the property of Mr. Antonio Lladó, the first golf club president, the Vall d'Or course was inaugurated in 1986 as a 9-holer.
The East course is one of two 18-hole courses at Son Antem (both designed by prolific architect Francisco López Segalés) and it opened for play in 1995, six years before the West came into being.
Andratx is spectacular, challenging and a complete golfing one-off with blind shots galore, unfeasibly elevated teeing positions and dramatically doglegged fairways.
