Staley Farms

Eric Iverson is a very well known, having designed and built lots of Tom Doak’s new millennium courses at Renaissance Golf Design. Not so many people will be aware that he cut his design teeth with the course at Staley Farms Golf Club.

Tiffany Greens

Located close to Kansas City airport, the course at Tiffany Greens Golf Club is a late 1990s design from Robert Trent Jones Junior, which hosted the TD Waterhouse Championship on the Champions Tour soon after it first opened for play.

The Legends (RTJ)

The Legends Country Club is a 27-hole facility with 18 holes designed by Robert Trent Jones in the late 1980s. Water hazards feature at several holes on the RTJ course, most memorably at the par three 8th, which plays across water.

St Andrews-born Robert Foulis laid out nine holes for Jefferson City Country Club in 1922. Forty-two years later, Larry Packard added a second nine and the architect returned in 1968 to rework the layout. Todd Quitno renovated bunkers and green complexes in 2009 to critical acclaim.

In 2007, The Club at Old Hawthorne engaged Art Schaupeter, former lead architect with Keith Foster, to design this 18-hole layout as the centrepiece of a 630-acre residential development that lies halfway between Kansas City and St Louis.

Meadowbrook

Established in 1944, Meadowbrook Country Club moved to its current 320-acre location at Ballwin sixteen years later, where Robert Bruce Harris fashioned a new course for the members. Gary Kern performed a remodel in 1988 and Keith Foster has since conducted a new millennium renovation.

Sunset

Founded as Sunset Hill Country Club in 1911, the club had a course in play six years after its formation, thanks to the collective design input of Jim, Dave and Robert Foulis. The club's name was changed to Sunset Country Club in 1938.
