Utah

The Beehive state of Utah is located in the West of the United States and three-quarters of its population of almost three million people live in the long narrow Wasatch Front region between Brigham City in the north and Nephi in the south. Renowned for the quality of the light, fluffy snow that falls within the state, Utah’s ski facilities are ranked amongst the best in the country.

  1. Glenwild Golf Club & Spa

    Utah, United States

Tom Fazio crafted the course at Glenwild Golf Club and Spa in 2001 and it culminates in a testing par five 18th that doglegs left around a shimmering lake on the way to the home green.

  2. The new darling of the already strong Southern Utah golf scene, Black Desert takes desert golf to a new extreme with Tom Weiskopf’s final design. The course was completed and opened for preview play in 2023 and features bright green fairways through a large, ancient lava field framed by the beautiful red sandstone cliffs and snow-capped mountains.

  3. The Championship course at the Sand Hollow Resort golf complex is a John Fought design that's complemented by the 9-hole Links layout at an engaging 27-hole facility.

  7. Promontory Club (Canyon)

    Utah, United States

In 2002, Pete Dye’s Canyon course was the first of two 18-hole layouts to open for play at the Promontory Club. The front nine holes are laid out in open terrain whilst the shorter back nine climbs into more hilly territory.

  8. The Jack Nicklaus-designed Painted Valley course at the Promontory Club debuted in 2007. It measures a mammoth 8,000 yards in length which, at altitude, is the equivalent of around 7,300 yards.

  9. Entrada at Snow Canyon

    Utah, United States

Surrounded by red sandstone cliffs, the Entrada course at Snow Canyon Country Club was unveiled in the mid 1990s. It’s an exciting layout that weaves around a desert landscape with fairways skirting black lava beds and rugged arroyos.
