Designed by Bill Robinson, the course at Sirocco Golf Club is set out within a massive 940-acre property to the south of Calgary. Pine Creek comes into play occasionally, most notably on the 438-yard 18th, where it must be crossed twice.
The layout measures a mammoth 7,167 yards from the tips, with holes set out as two returning nines that each play to a par of 36. Apart from the meandering waters of Pine Creek, there’s further aquatic challenge to be found in the form of greenside ponds at the par five 8th and par three 14th.
Other notable holes include both par threes on the front nine at the 171-yard 5th and 142-yard 7th, along with the slightly left doglegging 15th – the longest par four on the card, rated stroke index 2 – which runs along the southwest boundary of the property.
