    Liphook Golf Club is as pretty as a picture. A delightful, classic heathland course for the connoisseur, not for the dilettante.

    Hayling Golf Club is set upon a Site of Special Scientific Interest, on the South West peninsular of Hayling Island.

  3. Stoneham Golf Club

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    Designed by Willie Park Junior in 1908, Stoneham Golf Club is set in a delightful, historical deer park which was originally planted by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown.

  4. Blackmoor Golf Club

    Blackmoor Golf Club is sandwiched between the North and South Downs at the western end of the glorious sand belt, which cuts swathe through Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire.

  6. Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club

    Hampshire, England

    Situated on the southern edge of the New Forest, the Harry Colt-designed course at Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club opened for play in 1919, four years after the club was founded.

  7. Leckford Estate (Old)

    Hampshire, England

    The 9-hole Old course at the Leckford Estate, part of the Waitrose farm, was laid out on chalky downland by Harry Colt in 1929 and it’s one of the master architect’s most authentic designs.

  8. Hockley Golf Club

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    Established in 1914 and designed by James Braid, Hockley Golf Club is set on free draining chalk where there are fine views of the ancient heritage city of Winchester from its downland fairways.

  9. Founded in 1897, Barton-on-Sea Golf Club now boasts three loops of nine (Becton, Needles and Stroller) and the holes are an amalgam from the drawing boards of the late architects, Harry Colt and J. Hamilton Stutt.

  10. Army Golf Club

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    Founded in 1883, the same year as Hayling Island, the Army Golf Club has deep military connections but is now largely in civilian hands. Today’s course was laid out in the 1970s and is a stern 6,550-yard test.

  11. Shanklin & Sandown

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    Tom Dunn laid out Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club’s original 9-hole course in 1900 but, two years later, James Braid was called in to add another nine holes.

  12. Alresford

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    Alresford Golf Club was inaugurated in 1890 but the course in play today, which uses some of the original holes, was opened in 1993. David Harrison OBE and 2008 Captain of the R&A, is a member here.

  13. Royal Winchester Golf Club

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    Founded in 1888, Royal Winchester Golf Club is the fourth oldest golf club in Hampshire and there are some attractive holes, especially on J.H. Taylor’s strong and engaging outward nine.

  14. Bramshaw (Manor)

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    Designed by club professional Wilf Wiltshire, the Manor course has matured into a fine parkland layout, featuring tight, tree-lined holes that offer a real test of golf to players of all abilities.

  15. South Winchester

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    Dave Thomas and Peter Alliss designed the course at South Winchester Golf Club and it opened for play in 1993. Stretching out to 7,086 yards from the back tees and with numerous lakes in play, this is a stern test.

  17. Corhampton

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    The picturesque Corhampton Golf Club was founded in 1891 and is set an area of outstanding natural beauty. Neil Raymond, 2011 Brabazon Trophy winner, is a member here.

  18. Rowlands Castle

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    Situated on the fringe of South Downs National Park, the course at Rowlands Castle Golf Club is a delightful parkland track, extending to 6,642 yards from the back tees.

  19. Hartley Wintney

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    The golf course at Hartley Wintney Golf Club started out in 1891 as a 9-hole layout, serving the recreational needs of employees from the nearby Elvetham Estate.

  20. Weybrook Park (West)

    Hampshire, England

    Moving from its original location in 1997, Weybrook Park Golf Club originally started out with eighteen holes. Architect Ken Moodie and club official Sandy Burrell were then tasked with creating a new 9-hole circuit which paired with the original front nine in 2021 to form the 18-hole West course that is now in play.

  21. Bramshaw (Forest)

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    The Forest course at Bramshaw Golf Club dates back to the mid-1860s, fifteen years before the club was actually founded, making it the oldest golfing layout in Hampshire.

  22. Tylney Park

    Hampshire, United Kingdom

    With five sets of tees and yardage that exceeds more than 7,000 yards from the back markers, the parkland course at Tylney Park Golf Club is a challenging test.

  23. Freshwater Bay

    The Isle of Wight’s Freshwater Bay Golf Club is set spectacularly on downland cliffs. English Channel views distract on every hole, but when the wind blows, this charming 5,725-yard par 69 can play tough.
