North East Spain

The North East Spain region covers the autonomous communities of Aragon and Catalonia. Extending to around 48,000 km², with a population of approximately 1.3 million people, Aragon comprises the three provinces of Huesca, Zaragoza and Teruel. It boasts a diverse landscape that varies from permanent glaciers in the Pyrenees mountains to lush and verdant valleys where Spain’s second longest river, the Ebro, makes it way to the Mediterranean Sea.
