Nevada

There are two main golf associations in Nevada, divided on geographic lines. The Southern Nevada Golf Association was first formed in 1967 and it currently looks after 10,000 members in 65 clubs whilst the Northern Nevada Golf Association was established five years later with a current membership of 45 clubs. Three women’s associations complete the amateur golfing scene in Nevada.

  1. Shadow Creek

    Nevada, United States

Once the preserve of the limited few, Shadow Creek can now be shared. Sculptured by Tom Fazio from the rugged Nevada desert, it’s set in the most breathtaking location.

  2. Clear Creek

    Nevada, United States

Built by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw in 2009, the sandy-soiled fairways of the Clear Creek Tahoe course weave through towering pine trees, veering past a number of prominent rocky outcrops along the way.

  3. The Summit Club

    Nevada, United States

Designed by Tom Fazio, the 18-hole layout at The Summit club lies less than ten miles from the Las Vegas Strip, anchoring a 555-acre residential property next to the Red Rock National Conservation Area.

  4. Southern Highlands Golf Club

    Nevada, United States

Located a short drive to the south of the Las Vegas Strip, Southern Highlands Golf Club is one of the few co-designed courses ever laid out by the Trent Jones father and son architectural team...

  5. Wolf Creek Golf Club

    Nevada, United States

Spectacular, visually stunning, jaw dropping views, awe inspiring... Wolf Creek Golf Club is a course you will never forget.

  6. Cascata Golf Club

    Nevada, United States

Cascata is an Italian word for waterfall so it will come as no surprise that the predominant feature of the Cascata course is a high cascading waterfall.

  7. Wynn Golf Club

    Nevada, United States

Wynn Golf Club is located in the backyard of the Wynn Las Vegas casino hotel. The course closed for two years and reopened in October 2019 after a substantial makeover by the original architect and his son, Logan Fazio.

  8. SouthShore

    Nevada, United States

The course SouthShore Country Club was the first private Jack Nicklaus Signature Course in Nevada when it opened at Lake Las Vegas in 1996 and its fairways ride the ridges and career down canyons...

  9. Edgewood Tahoe

    Nevada, United States

Situated on the south eastern shore of Lake Tahoe, the course at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Club is a challenging layout that hosted the 1985 US Senior Open, an event won for the third time that year by Miller Barber.

  10. Montreux Golf & Country Club

    Nevada, United States

Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in a high desert and forest pine setting (at an altitude of 5,500 feet above sea level) the Nicklaus Signature course at Montrêux Golf & Country Club is routed around a private residential development...

  11. Coyote Springs Golf Club

    Nevada, United States

Situated an hour’s drive north of Las Vegas, the course at Coyote Springs Golf Club is a Jack Nicklaus layout with fairways routed around eleven man-made lakes in a harsh, rugged landscape, with native desert areas to be carried from many of the tees.

  12. DragonRidge

    Nevada, United States

A modern 18-hole layout that nestles in the desert foothills to the south of Henderson, the course at DragonRidge Country Club is a Jay Morrish design that debuted in the Silver State at the start of the new millennium.

  13. Reflection Bay

    Nevada, United States

Reflection Bay Golf Club is the only Nicklaus Signature design in Nevada and it hosted the now defunct Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge, when 3-person teams from the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour played in a unique event.

  14. Conestoga

    Nevada, United States

Featuring several spectacular elevation changes, the lush verdant fairways of the Conestoga Golf Club sit in sharp contrast to their harsh desert surroundings.

  15. The Wolf course at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is the longest of the three courses at the 54-hole complex. Being a Pete Dye creation (in collaboration with Perry and Cynthia), it wouldn’t be complete without an island green at the 182-yard 15th.

  16. Las Vegas Country Club

    Nevada, United States

Built on the site of an old racetrack, Las Vegas Country Club was designed by Ed Ault in 1967. The course was closed for almost a year in 2009 during a major renovation project to replace greens, bunkers and tees.

    Nevada, United States

Bobby Weed with Fuzzy Zoeller laid out the eye-catching course at TPC Summerlin in 1991. It’s a fond venue for Tiger Woods as he claimed his very first professional victory here in 1996.

  19. One of two golf facilities operated by Boulder City municipality, Boulder Creek Golf Club features three 9-hole loops. The Desert Hawk and Coyote Run nines form the longest and toughest 18-hole combination though the Eldorado Valley nine is also worth a look.

  20. Bali Hai Golf Club

    Nevada, United States

Bali Hai Golf Club is named after the fictional island immortalised by Perry Como’s No.1 single, Some Enchanted Evening, taken from the musical, South Pacific.
