Valley Golf & Country Club was founded in 1958 and the South course opened for play in 1961, following a James Herd Scott design. Host to the Philippine Open, most recently in 2010, the South is one of the best courses in the Antipolo area.
The November 2016 exhibition match between Jason Day and Rory McIlroy to mark the opening of the Mike Singgaran-designed Pradera Verde Golf & Country Club did not happen, but there’s no doubt this championship layout is set to make a big impact.
